We've finally been given the glam metal equivalent of the rapping granny from 'The Wedding Singer,' courtesy of longtime 'Jeopardy!' host Alex Trebek.

Trebek unleashed his inner Sunset Strip on the show's Feb. 2 episode, when one of the contestants picked a question (no, sorry -- answer) from the 'Hard Rockers' category that prompted him to read a choice excerpt from the lyrics to Motley Crue's 1987 hit 'Girls, Girls, Girls.'

If you've ever watched 'Jeopardy!' or witnessed Trebek in public, you know his immense squareness is a big part of his appeal -- and it also has everything to do with why the words "long legs and burgundy lips" sound terribly wrong when he speaks them. You can watch the whole thing unfold in the video above, which was helpfully uploaded by a YouTube user named "poop."

Unsurprisingly, some viewers had strong reactions to the segment, some of which were shared on Twitter. Check out a couple of 'Jeopardy!' Motley Crue tweets below, and good luck ever listening to 'Girls, Girls, Girls' again without hearing Alex Trebek's voice in your head.
