There's always so much to do and see in Oklahoma, and one of my favorite places to explore is Oklahoma City's Myriad Botanical Gardens. As you all know, I'm an avid gardener, so getting to walk through these beautiful gardens and getting lost in the gardens' Crystal Bridge Conservatory is the perfect weekend adventure.

The Myriad Botanical Gardens is located in downtown Oklahoma City, west of Bricktown and is just a few blocks from the Paycom Center. The gardens offer a 15-acre natural space in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, and the grounds are free and open to the public year-round. There's so much to explore and there are even a few play areas for kids. The gardens also almost always have various activities, celebrations or events going on, so there's always something to do and see!

One of their biggest attractions is the Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory, which recently just opened back up to the public after two years extensive renovations. According to the gardens' website, visitors to the Crystal Bridge Conservatory will experience a "beautifully redesigned and accessible space, visitors will enjoy new features like a reflecting pool, new plant collections, overlook terraces and a new waterfall feature." The Crystal Bridge Conservatory is a great place to see and learn about tropical plants.

There's so much to explore in the Crystal Bridge Conservatory!

I haven't been to visit the Crystal Bridge since it reopened. As I was scrolling through the Myriad Botanical Gardens Facebook page, I saw that they also grow tropical fruit in the Crystal Bridge! How cool!

On March 3, explore the Crystal Bridge for free!

Although the Myriad Botanical Gardens are free and open to the public year-round, there is a cost associated to explore the Crystal Bridge Conservatory. Cost is typically $10.50 for adults and $5.50 for kids, with special discounts for seniors, students and military/veterans.

But on Friday, March 3, to celebrate the Crystal Bridge Conservatory's 35th anniversary, admission will be free! So if you haven't had a chance to explore this awesome garden, this weekend is definitely the time to do so.
