Oklahoma Angler Caught a Fish with Human Teeth
Across the Sooner State, there are many opportunities to catch unique and weird fish.
Anglers can fish for tiger-muskie up in the panhandle at Carl Etling Lake. Even more fishermen jump at the chance to catch stocked trout each year in the designated fisheries. Some even reach blindly into holes in a bid to 'noodle' out giant catfish, but this might be the first time I've heard of someone catching a fish with human teeth in Oklahoma.
What you're looking at is a Pacu from South America. They're closely related to piranha, but instead of having vicious little sharp teeth meant for tearing flesh from bone, the paco has crushing teeth resembling those in your own mouth.
Obviously, this exotic non-native species didn't mysteriously just find its way into an Oklahoma body of water, but more likely someone released their pet fish into the pond, and it has been thriving ever since.
This lucky kid currently holds the Oklahoma record for the weirdest fish caught in the state.
