Unfortunately, Oklahoma has one of the most heartbreaking statistics in the country. For every 100,000 people, 16 of ours go missing. Because of such a staggering number, Oklahoma is known as the state with the highest number of missing people per capita.

Even worse, recently there have seemed to be a spike in missing youth in Oklahoma, including right here near Lawton. Below, we've included descriptions of the most recent missing persons reports so you know who to look out for.

In some cases, families have been fortunate enough to be quickly reunited with their missing loved ones. We're hoping that spreading the word can make this possible for even more families in the sooner state.

14-year-old Mason Davis from Oklahoma City, OK

Help families who may be in a long-term search for their missing loved one.

Luckily another teen that was reported missing earlier last week has recently been found and reported safe with her family. But it's incredibly suspicious that so many teens have gone missing recently.

If you or anyone you know sees someone that fits the description of either of these two missing teens, please contact authorities immediately. Time is of the essense with cases like these, especially the first 48 hours.

According to the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquincy Prevention, community members can help most by just spreading the word, not forgetting about them.

Hopefully we can bring these young ones home. For a longer list of missing persons in Oklahoma, click here.
