You and I both know, we talk about the weather a lot in Oklahoma. Not only are we famous for it worldwide, but it's so unpredictable you can have the weather conversation six times a day and the forecast will be different each time.

That's just how the weather is in the Sooner State.

This coming Thanksgiving weekend is no different.

Even though the snow forecast changed quite significantly, freezing temperatures are forecasted throughout most of the state during this period of rain--which means ice and nobody is a fan of that, especially if the forecast stays true and everyone ends up driving home on Sunday in slick conditions.

Looks like you'll be able to draw a line from Southwest OK to Northeast OK to find a veritable ice wall, but it won't be as drastic as you'd think.

While the weather may ice up portions of the state, we're still too warm (for the most part) for the ice to really take hold. Trees and cars will get icy, the roads might, but bridges almost definitely will get slick. As we head into the busiest travel weekend of the year, it's worth paying attention to.
