From Rocklahoma in Pryor, to Born and Raised also in Pryor, to Calf Fry in Stillwater, there are always huge concerts happening in Oklahoma. Many times, the hardest part really is deciding which one to go to, who is best to see?

Of course, we would love to say all of them, since music of any kind is a big deal in Oklahoma. But, if you want your socks blown off, there are definitely some artists that do that job a lot better than others.

Thanks to our followers on Facebook, we were able to build a list of the performers from Oklahoma who put on the best concerts; both local and celebrity-status performers were recommended.

He's widely known for being one of the best entertainers of all time in any genre, not just country. Many of our followers loved his lively, exhilirating performances no matter how many times they saw him in person.

There were a few that were actually bored of Garth Brooks, but recommended artists like the following instead.

Vince Gill

Born in Norman, Oklahoma, Vince Gill has topped country charts for decades. He's known for his unforgettable voice and undeniably catchy songs. While performing, you'll often catch surprise guests and spotlights on other band members during his concerts.

Reba McEntire

She's Oklahoma's sweetheart who knows exactly what she's doing. She's always had a knack for performing, even when she was discovered, it was effortless for her. Nowadays, she's still rocking out on stage and will keep you out of your seat (or so I'm told).

Top 3 Local(ish) Artists with the Best Concerts

These artist haven't reached the same level as Garth or Reba, but are definitely well known - at the very least in Oklahoma.

The Great Divide

This band is one of the first, bands who really helped Red Dirt music become what it is today. Originally out of Stillwater, Oklahoma, their shows have been described as "great big family reunion that’s been needing to happen."

Zach Bryan

Even though Zach Bryan was not born in Oklahoma, he grew up here in the Red Dirt music stomping grounds. His upbringing influenced his original works, which he performs mostly in concert.

One of our commentors said that "so many people can resonate with his lyrics," which makes his concert experience a personal one.

If you'd like to know where he's performing next, check out his schedule here.

Ty England

A few of our followers recommended this OKC native who's been hanging around ol' Garth Brooks for years, playing guitar for him on tour. Now he's earned some spotlight of his own and has learned firsthand from one of the best performers of all time, so you know he's sure to deliver.

Dalton, along with 11,000 other followers, agree that Richard's talents really shine when he's on stage. His original work, passionate covers of classic rock favorites and humor where he can fit it in make his concerts worth more than the cover you may pay to see him.
