If you are a member of the professional social network LinkedIn your account might have been hacked! The successful website released a statement saying they are currently investigating claims that private passwords were stolen. Are you one of the six million people with a hacked account?

LinkendIn posted on their Twitter account that security experts are looking into the security breach. They have not been able to confirm if the stolen data has been used illegally yet.

According ABC News, LinkedIn first found out about the stolen passwords from a Russian website, where a Russian blogger posted the passwords.

If you think your password has been stolen you should contact the LinkedIn company and file a claim.
