Rockstar, indeed — Post Malone's sophomore album Beerbongs & Bentleys has gone platinum just days after its release.

The LP, which dropped April 27, had officially gone gold before even dropping, thanks to a 5x platinum "Rockstar" performance and the gold status of follow-up single "Candy Paint," according to Forbes.

That, paired with the fact that the album is on course to break the record for biggest streaming work for an album ever and the year's biggest week of sales for overall equivalent units, according to Billboard, has proven to be a winning formula. Beerbongs & Bentleys has accrued 400 million audio streams so far in the United States in the week ending May 3, and it's likely the LP will outdo Drake’s More Life, which currently holds the record after dropping about a year ago.

Billboard predicts that when the week is through, Post Malone will have moved close to 500,000 units,175,000 of which will have been result of traditional album sales. That's pretty much a sure sign that it'll debut at No. 1 atop the Billboard 200, and mark the biggest week for an album since Taylor Swift’s Reputation dropped in December, having moved 1.238 million units.

And it'll be Post Malone's very first No. 1 if all goes according to plan. His debut work Stoney peaked at No. 4 in 2017 and has moved more than 2.5 million album equivalents. Its tracks also boast 3.1 billion on-demand streams and the LP includes traditional sales of more than 200,000.
