The Only Place In Oklahoma You’ll See Real Rare Reindeer
Santa's reindeer aren't too fond of Oklahoma's consistent warm weather, so it comes to no one's surprise that they are a rare sight in this state. But, they're still here in Oklahoma thanks to the one and only Reindeer Club.
Oklahoma's Coolest Christmas Club
The Reindeer Club in Bristow, Oklahoma is licensed by the USDA to bring live, real reindeer to Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas and Mississippi. The Christmas phenatics were inspired to start the club after visiting the Polar Express train ride.
The owners said that their oldest son pointed out that they "always met Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves, but they've never met a real reindeer." It was then they decided they needed to make it happen.

In an interview with tulsakids.com, the owners recalled how it all began. After a year and a half of planning and preparing, while getting education about housing these animals (who're naturally native to much colder climates), they got their first two reindeer.
Since they've started, they now travel several states with their reindeer visiting schools, parades, Christmas tree farms and other holiday events. Although they don't offer visits there at the farm, they're constantly setting up exhibits at various events.
