Redneckery Is Actually Innovative, You’re Just Missing It
Make fun of it all you want, there's actually some great tips and tricks that come from redneck engineering. The best part? The entire idea is to make things easier without needing the money, so don't expect to spend much, if anything at all.
Water Pump
Instead of gassing up, fill up any stock tank or container without worrying about overfilling. Siphon Without Sucking

Float The Cooler
It's nothing nicer to have your drink right next to you while you're enjoying the sun and the summer in the water. And thanks to redneck innovation, you won't have to fork over $40 or more for a floating cooler. Just make a stop at the local dollar store for your supplies and favorite sodas.
Homemade Air Conditioner
The worst part of the summer in Oklahoma has to be the high cost of staying cool - literally. The average American spends about 2% more on their air conditioning in the summer, so any cheap hack to save some money can make a difference. Although this option may not be the most affordable long-term, it's definitely worth trying for times you're working outside or for your animals.
Those were the top suggestions, but we can't forget about the honorable mentions:
