Road Work To Shut Down Part Of Highway 7

Drivers will see change in traffic patterns on Oklahoma 7 between Trail Road and Oklahoma 65 east of Lawton. ODOT working with Sherwood Construction have shut down the Eastbound lane starting at Trail Road and will shift it back at Highway 65 at Pumpkin Center. This is being done to rebuild 2.8 miles of highway 7, a project that started this past summer.

Drivers are encouraged to observe posted speed limits in the construction zone and get used to the new traffic configuration which will last until the fall of 2012. Plan accordingly for delays in and out of the Lawton area.
