Robert Plant Wants to Work With Jack White – But There’s One Problem
Plant, participating in a Facebook chat with fans this morning (September 9), was asked if he had plans to work with White during an already-planned stop in Nashville next week. "I love Jack White's buccaneer spirit, and the way he dodges through the musical horizons," Plant responded. "I'd be happy to make a single with him."
Plant even had a song in mind, 'Love Me' by the Phantom. He then revealed that he was available to record on the morning of September 15, before scheduled meetings with Alison Krauss and Patty Griffin.
Unfortunately, White's web site indicates that a current tour will have Plant's intended recording partner in Columbia, Maryland on September 14 and then in Cleveland, Ohio on September 15.
