The November 2014 arrest of AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd for allegedly threatening to kill two men prompted us to explore the surprisingly long history of rock stars who have previously been involved in murder cases.

In the gallery above, you'll find 13 examples of rock stars who were convicted or accused of killing another human being -- from a band comprised largely of convicted and imprisoned murders to an absolutely tragic accident involving Who legend Keith Moon, and the disturbing case of noted session drummer Jim Gordon.
