What'd I tell ya?! Concert season is a very big deal in Oklahoma! And as we get closer, the list of events continues to grow.

Out of all of the music festivals in Oklahoma, there's one that might top them all: Rocklahoma. It's undoubtedly the state's largest rock festival, but one of, if not the, largest festivals held at all.

This year is especially important because it's the 20th Anniversary of Rocklahoma in Pryor, Oklahoma.

Godsmack, Slayer, and Papa Roach Headlining Oklahoma's 2026 Rocklahoma Fest

Between Thursday, September 3, and Sunday, September 6, Rocklahoma will be hosting at least 48 artists. With that many bands playing, it's safe to say that the music hardly ever stops.

Thursday night starts as a pre-game to the major acts coming up later in the week. This year, the Thursday Night Throwdown features:

  • Plush
  • Ozzolution
  • She Hates Me Not
  • Jump

Then, the chaos ensues. Friday night, acts like Stone Temple Pilots, Buckcherry, Slaughter, Black Stone Cherry, and the Normandy's will take the stage before Godsmack closes the night.

Saturday night is one of the craziest nights, with 15 acts performing all day. The lineup features Black Veil Brides, Molly Hatchet, School of Rock, and many, many more. Saturday night's main act, Papa Roach, will close the night.

The energy doesn't stop, even on the last day of the festival. Sunday's lineup features Black Label Society, The Pretty Reckless, The Violent Hour, Seven Foot Monkey, and more. Slayer will wrap up Sunday night, and the 2026 Rocklahoma Festival.

Tips For First Timers Attending Rocklahoma in 2026

Since it's one of Oklahoma's longest running festivals, there are definitely tricks you can learn to make your experience the best - even if it's the first time visiting.

A few things to expect when you do arrive are:

  • Bad cell service
  • Weird and wild things
  • Non-stop parties

One of my friends who attends nearly every year described Rocklahoma as a "non-stop Mardi Gras" both day and night. If you love the music, but want the ability to actually get a night's rest, staying at a nearby hotel would be a better option. But, if you want to party, meet people, and never sleep, camping is definitely the way to go.

Since everything is cashless, and the wi-fi is notoriously not very fast, it's best to plan ahead and have all of your money accessible before getting there to the venue.

PRO TIP: If you want the quickest wi-fi service, the word on the street is that you should stand near Radio Row.

Last, but not least, make sure to bring your sunscreen and pace yourself. Labor Day weekend is always hot in Oklahoma, and the heat can make you dehydrated faster than anything else. So don't burn, drink water, and plan ahead.
