It seems as though Oklahoma's Museum of Osteology has become a cat magnet. They may have adopted one cat, but unfortunately cannot take in the second stowaway they've found and are reaching out via social media to find her furever home.

The adoption announcement for the black cat "Skully" came from the Sir Indiana Bones facebook page, dedicated to the museum's first cat that they adopted in 2019. Hopefully, someone in Oklahoma can give Skully just as good of a home.

"She’s tiny, talkative, and extremely adoptable," they wrote. "I’d keep her myself, but one museum cat is enough mischief for one skeleton collection."

Skully may not be the museum's cat, but she's already a fan favorite.

Many cat lovers are heartbroken about not being able to adopt Skully themselves, but some have shown some incredible passion for both her and Sir Indiana Bones. One commentor wrote:

"Hmm.... drove from WI just to meet Indiana Bones last summer, it wouldn't be totally insane if I came back to adopt Scully, right?"

Others, of course, suggest that the museum keep Skully anyway - after all, they did name her.

"You named her. Pretty sure that's an indication of keeping said animal," one commentor wrote. "Skully would make a great apprentice/partner in crime."

Regardless of the reactions, the museum staff are still trying to find the perfect people to take her in.

For those interested in adopting Skully, they'll need to email the museum at info@skeletonmuseum.com. She's already spayed, vet checked and ready for the family needing a cat like her in their lives.
