Lawton, Oklahoma went from zero halloween celebration places to two in one summer. But Spirit Halloween isn't the only place in Oklahoma to get your spooky season stuff.

Since things are still being put together and shops are being prepared, many of the Spirit Halloweens in Oklahoma have only said they would "be opening in August" with no actual date attached. In fact, as of today, the only open location in Oklahoma is the Yukon store.

We did see that August 2nd and 3rd was mentioned on some Grapevine posts on Facebook, but the closed doors say otherwise. For now, the best way to know for sure is to check in with the Spirit Halloween map.

As of right now, Oklahoma has around 18 locations for Spirit Halloween. Some are still in the process of being opened, it's important to check individual hours of the shop you'd like to visit. You can take a look at the interactive map here to find the store nearest to you.

Although they are closed until the fall of this year, they are still notoriously one of Oklahoma's largest shops for Halloween shopping.

Think of it like the "Home Depot of Halloween" in Oklahoma. They've got duplicates of their popular animatronics, plenty of power for the smoke machines and creative options for any kind of Halloween you're trying to decorate for.

Home Goods

I like to think of this place as where Ross meets TJ Maxx - lots of really nice stuff that you can find for much cheaper than Hobby Lobby or other expensive craft stores.

On my search for Halloween decor places in Oklahoma, there were tons of people who swore up and down that the space in Home Goods is taken up by some of the best Halloween decor every year.

I think we go the picture - don't sleep Joanne's. I never thought to visit a fabric store for Halloween, but according to the more creative ladies and gentlemen in Oklahoma, there are quality spooky things here.

Keep in mind that seasonal stuff goes fast, so make it a point to visit early in the season, before everyone else snatches up the good stuff.
