Call it SpongeBob SabbathPants. A metal fan with way too much time on his hands – seriously, way too much – has stitched together scenes from SpongeBob SquarePants to sync up with Black Sabbath's classic "War Pigs."

Watch above as the whole gang from Bikini Bottom bangs its collective heads. The user, posting on YouTube as Chip's World, admits that his mashup was "a ridiculously long project, but fun to make." Thank you, metal fan with way too much time on your hands. This rocks.

Of course, SpongeBob SquarePants is no stranger to working with music's biggest stars. Gene Simmons, Pantera, Ween, Sebastian Bach and the Monkees' Davy Jones have appeared on the long-running animated series. Big fan David Bowie – who once showed up as a character named Lord Royal Highness on the show – is also writing a song for an upcoming SpongeBob-themed musical, as are members of Aerosmith. And who can forget when Motorhead's "You Better Run" was transformed into "You Better Swim" for 2004's SpongeBob SquarePants Movie?

"War Pigs," the opening song from Sabbath's 1970 album, Paranoid, has also been featured in the video game Guitar Hero II. It most likely will also show up in the band's series of farewell dates, which Ozzy Osbourne says will follow Black Sabbath's final album next year. Their most recent LP, 2013's 13, became Black Sabbath's first-ever No. 1 .
