It's back, bigger and better than ever before. Crawds N' Rods returns in 2023! It's one of the biggest car shows in the area and of course, you can't forget the big crawfish boil featuring the best Louisiana crawfish you can find outside of the bayou state.

The Oklahoma State Fair announced all the concerts we'll be seeing this year. It's a great lineup of rock, country, gospel, and even some 50's classic rock. Every night at the state fair there will be concerts and live music. Take a look at who we'll be seeing in 2022.

Here's the best part, it'll be set up inside the Great Plains Coliseum's Expo Building. So no matter what Mother Nature is up to 'Eats & Beats' is a go!

Farmers Insurance Angela Shertle invites to to "A Time to Honor" today from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Taymor Plaza located at 44th Street and Gore Blvd next to the Wolf Creek Medical Center. The event is in recognition and thanks to all of our service men and women here and abroad.

Well it's officially official now! We just received word that the Oklahoma State Fair will return this year! The dates for this year's state fair are Thursday, September 16th through Sunday, September 26th (09-16-21 until 09-26-21). The theme for this year's state fair is "Back to fun in 2021." That's more than appropriate after last year's cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We're finally starting to get back to normal and have some events, concerts and community happenings to look forward to.

Last year they had to cancel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but they're all set for 2021 and it's looking like it might be one of they're best yet!

The City of Lawton just announced that the 2021 Lawton, Fort Sill Freedom Festival is a go! The event will be held at Elmer Thomas Park located at 501 N.W. Ferris Avenue on the corner of Ferris and 3rd Street Saturday, June 26th (06-26-21). The festival will get underway around 6:00pm that night and go until around 10:30pm ending with one of the largest fireworks displays in S.W. Oklahoma!

Yesterday I passed by the old Eagle Park sign in Cache next to the Trading Post. I had to pull in and take a quick picture and couldn't help but smile at all the memories that came back. I spent a lot of time there as a kid, especially during the KLAW Chili Cook Offs. Those were the days!

Yesterday (10-05-20) the news broke that the MEGA three day, three stage live music festival Rocklahoma was going to be moved to Labor Day Weekend in 2021. This will be the very first year that the festival will be in the Fall vs Summer. Normal Rocklahoma takes place during Memorial Day Weekend. This year (2020) was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
