Yesterday was the 97th annual Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest, held on the Fourth of July in Coney Island. Joey Chestnut managed to not only win the championship title for the seventh straight year, he also set a new world record by eating 69 hot dogs in just ten minutes.

That's what a group of New York City pals were likely asking themselves when they woke up with photos of themselves drinking and singing karaoke with the star at NYC's Karaoke One 7 club. One of partiers told humor blog The Chive they saw Murray sitting alone with his date and asked him if he wanted to join them in singing a couple tunes.
