Places to Eat

I guess I should be paying better attention. I've drove past it a few times over the past several weeks and missed it somehow. The ALL NEW Scooter's Coffee is open in Lawton! They're located on, or near the corner of Gore Blvd. and Sheridan Road.

Don't believe everything you hear or see on the internet, especially on Facebook and Twitter. There's been a rumor going around town online and elsewhere that Qdoba on the West side is closing down. IT'S NOT TRUE!

Looks like Lawton, Fort Sill is getting an new restaurant, but it's a lot more than that. Get ready for JD's Hideaway, a really unique place to eat that features axe throwing lanes, billiards, an HD golf simulator and video games! If the name sounds kind of familiar that's because they have an Altus, OK. location. I've heard about it, but I've never had the opportunity to eat there. Well, Lawton will be getting it's very own JD's Hideaway soon! It'll be located at 2705 N.W. Sheridan Road in the old Kimchi Korean BBQ building.

With all the local and area businesses that have closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, not to mention those who's fate is still uncertain, it's nice to hear about a new business opening up in Lawton. Even better when it's a new place to eat! The Lawton Bricktown Brewery is now open, located on the corner of 2nd and Gore at 45 N.W. 2nd Street.
