I first became acquainted with Flower Mound School when I was asked to do a live broadcast for the Flower Mound Volunteer Fire Department.  They hold an annual Bar-B-Q dinner and use the School's cafeteria and Gym to serve the meals.

Fast Forward a few years, and 3 of my Grandchildren now attend Flower Mound School (two are now at Mac Middle School) and my Daughter is a full-time Teacher's Aide in a Pre-K classroom. Lucas is in 4th grade, Breyton in 3rd, and McKenna is in Pre-K.

Flower Mound Years

From the moment that my first Grandchild was enrolled in Flower Mound, I knew there was something special about the school.  The classrooms are fun, and the teachers seem to go over and above for the students.  I was telling Critter this morning that when Lucas was playing Tee Ball, several of the teachers came out to watch.  On their own time! (By the way, Critter's daughter Liberty also attended Flower Mound from grade 2 -6.)

We are Flower Mound Bobcats

This week Flower Mound School District has been ranked #3 public elementary school in the state of Oklahoma and #325 in the Nation by niche.com.

That's not all!  Flower Mound also ranked #1 in Comanche County.  What a huge accomplishment!

Flower Mound school passed a bond election last year, and are in the process of building an entire Early Childhood Building.  Congratulations to Flower Mound School for being so awesome, and to the Nation, State, and County for recognizing it!  Proud to be part of the Bobcat Family!
