This day in age, the concept of renting an entire house from an individual in lieu of booking a room at a hotel has really taken off. While it's logically thought of as mostly in part to the resurgence of bed bugs and the fact that every hotel, by statistic, has probably had them at least once in the last ten years across the nation, people opt for peer-reviewed rental sites like AirBnB. By reading the reviews, you pretty much know exactly what you're in store for ahead of time.

In Oklahoma, the coolest AirBnB place you can rent seems to be this unique and immaculately staged vintage house called Buck's Cosmic Crash Pad, located just behind the famed Route-66 attraction Uncle Atom's Cosmic Curios souvenir shop.

As you pull in the driveway, it's hard to not instantly recognize the house looks like every old house that so many look upon with a glint and glimmer of the way things used to be. There's no denying, vintage is still cool, and there's no denying the cool factor of this place to call home for a night.

The description on AirBnB describes this place as:

Welcome to Buck's Cosmic Crash Pad located directly behind Buck Atom's Cosmic Curios souvenir shop on Historic Route 66. Experience a one of a kind "living gallery" where most of the artwork is for sale. Every room has a Roadside Attraction or Neon sign view from the windows. This is the perfect place for your adventure on The Mother Road, a stay-cation, or to celebrate that special occasion in style!

One of the more peculiar things about this rental listing just might be the rating. While there are a ton of perfect 5-star ratings, the overall score is a very impressive 4.97 at the time I wrote these words. We all know it's impossible to please everyone, but that is the type of score that manages to find a way to do so.

At a mere $169 per night, it's a steal for anyone finding themselves needing a place in Tulsa. You can check out the AirBnB website here for all the details and more pictures. It looks like a fun weekend getaway stacation idea for the fam.
