It has been anticipated for a long time and now much of the western world celebrates one less terrorist in the world.

We've heard the ever-changing story of the death of Osama bin Laden.  Did he have a gun or was he unarmed?  Was he shooting or using one of his wives as a body shield?  Was he shot in the eye or in the head or both?  The details of the story are still a little hazy and, I'm sure, the official version has not yet been released. The question now is, "do you want to see those pictures?"  Strangely, the government isn't sure how to proceed.  Usually something like this would never be in debate.  The gruesome and ghoulish site of a man being assassinated would not be released to the public.

This is different.  Many, MANY people believe Osama bin Laden is directly responsible for the attacks on the World Trade Center.  We watched as 3,000 of our own died in those towers and many now want to watch as the one responsible dies, too.

In the end, will it help us or hurt us?  Terrorist groups routinely send out pictures of men beheaded.  Nazi Germany stood on piles of dead Jews to take pictures and many of the worst massacres in history are documented through film.

Could it be that we look a little bit like them if we stoop to that level?
