Top 3 Intense Moments Captured On Oklahoma Law Enforcement Dash Cam
Recently, we've seen some of the wildest driving incidents in Oklahoma, including high speed chases, law enforcement vehicle being side swiped by drivers while pulled over for a traffic stop and many other instances.
The following instances have been captured on dash cam video and released to the public. As insane as some of these moments are, this is proof that they really did happen on our own roads.
Hold your breath because these moments definitely do get intense. Fortunately, no one is captured being fatally injured in any of the videos.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Dodging Bullets On Turner Turnpike - 2022
The amount of self control that our State Troopers have during some of the most dangerous situations is downright unbelievable. Take Trooper Brack Miller for example, who faced several gunshots directly aimed at him while chasing a suspect down the highway in Oklahoma on April 2, 2022.
Could you imagine attempting a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) over and over again, nearly losing control of your vehicle, and continuously being shot at from the vehicle you have to get bumper-to-bumper with? And all you have to say during the entire thing is "well that was ugly?"
Driver smashes into car pulled over for traffic stop & hits state trooper - 2024
Earlier this week, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reiterated that drivers need to be paying more attention following a side swiping incident caused by a suspected distracted driver.
It definitely could easily have been a repeat of an accident that happened on January 18, 2024. An Oklahoma Highway Patrolman, Jesse Gregory, stopped someone along Interestate 40.
While pulled over, Trooper Gregory walked to the passenger side of the vehicle to talk with the drivers. Then, a few moments later, another driver smashes into the rear end of the vehicle, which crashed into Trooper Gregory and sent him flying.
Luckily, Trooper Gregory and the other injured parties involved were able to recover from their injuries. Somehow, the crash was investigated but a confirmed reason for the crash doesn't seem to be out there. However, most of us can guess just what could've caused a mess like this.

Oklahoma state troopers face difficult decisions during shootout - 2016
A weeklong manhunt throughout Oklahoma ended tragically on Sunday, October 31 near Leedy, Oklahoma. Michael Dale Vance Jr. started a deadly shootout after being approached by law enforcement and then taking them on another wild high speed chase.
Although the fatal shot has been removed from the video, dash cam footage reveals just how intense the last moments with Vance were for the officer. But, much like Trooper Miller in 2022, this officer was calm and quiet during the exchange.
