A year ago, Nala was found in an area shelter and in need of a lot of TLC. She appears to be small white 5-6 year ool Jack Russell Terrier mix. She is crate trained and housebroken. She was quickly adopted to a new family, and has been with them for over a year now. Unfortunately due to them moving and having a baby, she has just been returned. Her name was changed to Willow, so she probably answers to that now.
Her new owner says that she is a little princess, doesn’t bark, she gets excited about food or snacks. She actually prefers to sleep in a crate as long as there is a comfy bed in it. She is good with kids, doesn’t jump on the furniture, and overall low maintenance. She just needs lots of love.
For more information about Nala/Willow, please email swoan@swbell.net.

This week's Pet of the Week is Cooper. This handsome domestic short hair is grey and white and very lovable. He wants to be touched and petted every chance he gets but he still has some playfulness left in him as well.
Cooper was adopted from the shelter as a kitten and for an unknown reason ended up across town in a sad situation. Despite these trials he was brought to the shelter by a neighbor and he was a very happy and purring boy. His owner did not reclaim him and now we are looking for a purrfect forever home for this big man who is almost 4 years old. He is good with other cats and kids. As you can see by the photo he has one grey leg and one white one making him quite unique. Please come check out Cooper.
We are located at 2801 Sullivan St in Vernon Tx. You can reach us by phone at 940-552-5373 or by email at whs76384@gmail.com. To put an application on any of our animals please visit www.wilbargerhumanesocietyvernontx.org
