One of Oklahoma's top Halloween spots isn't just known for their October events. This southwest Oklahoma favorite experience transforms from a haunted, heart-racing scare experience in October into a festive wonderland every December.

This weekend is opening weekend for the iconic Trail of Cheer in Lawton, Oklahoma. Instead of the jump scares and scare experiences that they usually host for Halloween, visitors will be able to experience Christmas here in a more unique fashion than the rest of the state.

For opening weekend, they're hosting an array of opportunities guests won't have the rest of the season. So grab your coats and mark your calendars for the kickoff weekend at the Trail of Cheer.

Many of their most popular attractions will be open this weekend, including the caroling Holiday Hayride, the Candy Cane Express Train Ride, and even exciting escape rooms tailored to the holiday season.
