Celebrate Spring At A Tulip Festival In Oklahoma City
I've seen tulips popping up all over town, and they sure do bring a smile to my face! Tulips are my favorite flower, and they grow beautifully in Oklahoma. That's why the Myriad Botanical Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City will host its first-ever Tulip Festival this April.
The Myriad Botanical Gardens has two days full of activities for its first-ever Tulip Festival! According to the event's webpage, attendees of the festival will be able to wander through the gardens and feast their eyes on 30,000 plus tulip blossoms. They'll also enjoy a weekend full of live music, shopping with local artisans and dining with local food trucks. The festival will take place on the northeast side of the gardens, North Plaza and Seasonal Plaza.
More activities to be had at the Tulip Festival!
The Myriad Botanical Gardens Tulip Festival will also have activities for the whole family! There will be face painting, photography opportunities, and wine and palette activities. A full list of events, live music performances and food trucks is available on the Tulip Festival's Facebook event page.
Be sure to check out the Crystal Bridge!
If you're making plans to attend the Myriad Botanical Gardens Tulip Festival, you should definitely check out everything the gardens has to offer! You should definitely put the gardens' Crystal Bridge on your list of activities. The Crystal Bridge was recently remodeled and features waterfalls, tropical plants, tropical fruits and so much more! It's a beautiful and educational experience. You can also stop in the Myriad Botanical Gardens' gift shop for a lovely souvenir.
