West Side Walmart Named 2020 Store Of The Year

March 2021 marks a full calendar year of the US Covid-19 pandemic. It's been a rough one for sure, lacking in entertainment but excelling in technology, we've all sort of fallen back into a simpler form of life. Cooking homemade meals, learning how to DIY projects at home, discovering new hobbies, it's bittersweet. As small businesses across the nation struggled, three industries really boomed in 2020... Fast food, home centers like Lowe's and Home Depot, and grocery/department stores like Walmart and Target. I'm sure you can remember last April when groceries and toilet paper were so incredibly hard to find. Shelves bare, no expectations of restocking, many of us rediscovered TopRamen.

Of all of the grocery chains out there, Walmart seems to be the store that was able to soar ahead of their competitors through new technologies and a massive worldwide buying power and influence. I know a lot of people like to hate on Walmart. Probably the same reason people hated Jeff Gordon or deny how great Tom Brady is... Nobody likes a winner. I love Walmart and I'm not afraid to say it. It's the one store I can buy almost everything at either in store or online. Add in the fact I don't have to walk the isles or even leave the house to get all of my groceries, I have nothing but positive feels about the retail giant.

Of all of the stores in all of the states, countries, and continents, your West Side Quanah Parker Walmart was named Walmart Store of the Year for 2020. That's an insane accomplishment for the whole team there. From the top of management to the lowest level employee, it's a big win as a singular team. A big congrats to those working the store.
