With the approaching release of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, sides are being taken across the internet of which of the two are the favorite superhero. But we have decided to take the question on step further. We want to know, which incarnation of each of the caped crime fighters was your favorite of the numerous versions

With apologies to Kirk Allyn (Superman - 1948 and Atom Man vs. Superman - 1950), David Wilson (It's A Bird, It's A Plane TV special - 1975), and Johnny Rockwell, Ron Ely and Tom Welling, who all played a version of Superboy, these are the top 5 most recognizable Men of Steel.     George Reeves

    The movie Superman and the Mole Men played in cinemas in 1951 with George Reeves as the super hero. Reeves later took on the role again in the television series Adventures of Superman from 1952 until 1958.

    Christopher Reeves is perhaps the most successful actor to play the character of Superman. This is due to the fact that he was cast as Superman in four movies Superman (1978), Superman II (1980), Superman III (1983), Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987).
