You know, it is astonishing how quickly things can change in just a few years.

It seems that over the last few years, some of the Oklahoma towns with the worst reputations managed to turn things around, and there's no shortage of other communities willing to take their place.

Take Lawton for example--We constantly flip-flop between a horrible place and a mildly OK place to live. Some years the crime goes up, other years the local politicians manage to keep it under wraps.
