This is every geek's dream -- having an appearance in a Star Wars movie.  That is exactly what you could have if you win the Force for Change contest that the movie is using to help support UNICEF.

It's a pretty cool idea and is a new initiative from Disney and Lucasfilm.  They were looking to raise funds and awareness for UNICEF's Innovation Labs.  Disney, in fact, is committing $1 Million to the project.

You can enter to win for free (thanks to contesting laws) but the real goal is to get you to make a donation.  Here's what J.J. Abrams says about the project:

UNICEF has a long history of scaling transformative solutions for children, including deploying the first low-cost water hand-pump to rural communities, developing RapidFTR, a mobile based tool helps ensure that children are registered and reunited with their families in the wake of a natural disaster, and creating the solar-powered Digital Drum, which gives kids access to quality educational content in areas without even electricity.
