It just wouldn't be the holiday season without binge-watching all your favorite Christmas movies and specials, some of them over and over again. It only comes once a year and there's a limited amount of time you can hit play on these festive feel-good films. While we all have our favorites, some are more popular.

Recently a new survey and study were conducted by Preply.com that ranked the most popular holiday movies by state. While most of the titles were exactly what you'd expect there were a few states, Oklahoma included, that have strange favorites. Of course, holiday classics like Elf, The Grinch, Home Alone, A Christmas Story, The Polar Express, and others made the list. However, more than a few states had some very usual choices.

So what is Oklahoma's most popular Christmas movie? It's hard to believe, but "Edward Scissorhands" is the Sooner State's favorite holiday movie, I know it's strange. It's not technically a Christmas movie either, sure the themes in the film are Christmas-like, but it's not a straightforward or typical Christmas movie. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever watched it around the holidays, except around Halloween maybe.
