Zach Top Surprises Children Facing Medical Challenges in Oklahoma & More

Celebrities who go the extra mile for their fans are the ones people talk about decades after they've peaked in their careers. Zach Top will, undoubtedly, be one of the most talked-about celebrities in Oklahoma, especially after this weekend.

While most people expected him to appear at his own concert at the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma, he surprised many others by popping in at a few other places under the radar.

Top's concert at the Paycom Center was on Saturday, October 18. Normally, after a concert, bands pack up and start traveling to their next destination. But, Top decided to stay in Oklahoma just long enough to make more dreams come true.

On Sunday, October 19, Top surprised children at the Kids Korral in Oklahoma City, which is a facility created by the Toby Keith Foundation. The Kids Korral was made to help families with children who are fighting cancer.

Instead of receiving treatment alone in a hospital, patients can receive their treatment and travel nearby to stay at the Korral with their families so that they aren't facing these challenges alone. 

A mother who was there at the Korral with her daughter shared her appreciation for the surprise concert saying "Thank you so much, Zach! You were so sweet to Sutton (her daughter), and this was the best day we have had since she has been diagnosed."

His energy must never run out, because he surprised more folks the night before at a nearby dance bar in downtown OKC, presumably after his concert.

Zach Top surprises dancers, yet flies under the radar, at the Oklahoma Ranch.

It's amazing how someone so popular can fly under the radar at one of the largest dance clubs in Oklahoma, but Zach Top managed to pull it off after his concert on Saturday night.

One of the dancers at the Oklahoma Ranch recalled that Top showed up with several people and escaped to the V.I.P. section to watch the dancers. Royce Hudson, an avid dancer, told us "He did enjoy watching all of us dance, though. Our group (me especially) was very proud of that!"

Hudson mentioned that the crowds were noticeably larger once Zach Top arrived, but that didn't deter the staff at Oklahoma Ranch from doing their job to the best of their ability. He applauded a staff member on a Facebook post, saying that "we are so, so lucky" for workers who keep the dance floor safe and hazard-free.

Although Hudson says that some patrons went to visit with Top, but most people admired the country music star from afar. He was able to enjoy the evening with everyone without being swarmed by people or overwhelmed with attention.
