I swear if it's not one thing it's another. When the hell is this "normal" everyone's talking about going to happen? Now before we go any further let me just say remain clam, there's no need to panic, all is well. Okay, maybe not everything is well, but it's not bad either. It's looking like there may be another shortage on the horizon and this time it's meat. Over the Memorial Day weekend one of, if not the largest meat producers in the U.S. was hit with a cyber-attack. JBS USA had to temporarily shut down production due to hackers and ransomware attacks. However they're getting back online and expect to return to full production very soon.

If this all sounds very or even vaguely familiar that's because this exact same thing happened to the Colonial Pipeline a few weeks ago. A cyber-attack shut down production and people started panic buying gas and oil thinking there was a massive shortage about to happen. What's funny, more like incredibly sad, is the shortage was actually created from panic buyers and hoarders. The cyber-attack didn't create the problem, people did. Well, that same thing could happen again if people freak out and start emptying freezers and shelves to stockpile meats. I tell you this is really starting to get old!

Over the past year or so we've seen just about every type and kind of shortage you can think of. From toilet paper. hand sanitizers, fireworks, oil and gas to meats. It makes you wounder what the hell is next? The COVID-19 pandemic is still creating havoc with manufacturers and producers. As if that weren't bad enough, now we have hackers and cyber-attacks we're dealing with. In the meantime the best thing to do is remain calm and be a part of the solution instead of the problem.
