Former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman is the latest artist with a namesake instrument.  The Bill Wyman Signature bass is a replica of his 1961 homemade fretless bass.  It features a short-scale neck and Wyman's unique headstock design.  The manufacturers paid a visit to Wyman's Sticky Fingers restaurant in London with tools and tapes to faithfully record the specifications and sizes of the original Wyman Bass, which is on display in a glass case in the restaurant.  The new one sells for $939 and comes with a custom padded case.
