Believe it or not, there are some people that do not like listening to Christmas Music.  Ever.  No, I'm serious ever!

There is a school of thought that Christmas music invokes stress because of economic challenges, scheduling everything that has to happen before the actual holiday, or just not liking Christmas.  While I understand the stresses that happen around the holidays, the pure joy, of being with family and watching the magical reaction of kids and Santa far outweighs any stress that may come during preparations.

According to clinical psychologist Linda Blair,

Christmas music is likely to irritate people if it’s played too loudly and too early,” Blair says. What is now known as the “Christmas Creep” in retail stores, it’s common for stores to start the Christmas merchandise early in addition to the music… sometimes as early as October.

I just love the joy that Christmas music brings, and if I'm being honest, I listen to some Christmas songs even in the Summer.  I can't be the only one, right?

Let find out once and for all, just how early is too early to listen to Christmas, and see what Lawton/Fort Sill has to say about it!  Take the poll below, and let your Christmas Voice be heard!
