A Unique Oklahoma City Restaurant Is Going Viral on Tik Tok
In south Oklahoma City, there's a truly unique eating experience waiting for you with authentic Mexican food, live music and new tastes you probably never thought were possible.
@tiffanyinoklahoma I found a hidden gem in Oklahoma City, its called @elchilangoOKC and thru have the best authentic mexican food on the South Side. The cocktails are so good and strong too. They are open until 3 am on the weekends! Its a vibe in here for sure! #oklahoma #hiddengem #oklahomacity #okc #visitokc #streettacos #mexicanfood #foodie #oklahomafoodie #okie #alpastor #travelok #thingstodoinoklahoma ♬ original sound - Reafinado_Official
After TiffanyinOklahoma visited the restaurant, El Chilango, her video (released only 3 days ago) has reached over 225 thousand views and more than 11,000 likes on Tik Tok.
Maybe it's the al pastor in her video that catches every viewers eye - definitely not something you see at many (if any) other mexican restaurants throughout the state.
Or howabout the decorative specialty drinks, even one in a blender (is that really a blender?) topped off with what looks like spicy cheetos. Seriously, these are some wild looking, but supposedly great-tasting, cool drinks.
Tell me, how many places actually stamp their food with their logo? Not the wrapping - the food (they give a whole new meaning to food stamps). You won't be forgetting their name at all by the time you leave.
Not many places in Oklahoma stay open past the time the bars close in Oklahoma at 2am, but El Chilango's is one of the options that do - they don't close until 3am during the week. Rumor has it that after hours on the weekends are something you have to experience yourself, rather than see it on the internet.
Live music in Oklahoma - we all know how good it is. But don't expect your two-stepping, down home country music. Instead, you'll find yourself with an entirely new live music experience. You'll even have a chance to strut your own stuff with karaoke.
Apparently, it's Mexico City's best-kept secret. But, thanks to social media, it won't be a secret for long.
