From insanely large fish to hundreds of crawdads, Oklahomans around the state are finding some of the strangest things in the ground after the recent rains. The rain has not only taken out roads and made ponds out of front yards, but it's caused some concern for what could be left to pick up after the rain officially stops for the season.

Most things that folks are finding are harmless, but one of the concerns that came up was the ability for roads to completely wash out. One of the worst cases was in Blanchard, Oklahoma where the road completely caved and left locals stranded, according to news. But other incidents on a smaller scale appeared in places like Elgin, Oklahoma.

Out of all of the finds though, these are some of the craziest we've spotted thus far across the state.

Baby gar caught by hand in Shawnee, Oklahoma

Nathan Wayne Williams was filmed "noodling" a baby gar out of the Firelake Bowling parking lot that had flooded on April 26. Days later, Williams and his family were just expecting to knock some pins - instead, they got to strip down and catch some fish, too.

Finding crawfish in the front yard in Oklahoma.

Creator Leslie Burris posted a reel after the recent rains, admitting that you can expect tornadoes in Oklahoma, but not crawdads coming up from the ground. According to the commentors, this is really only common in certain parts of the state, such as Tulsa, Broken Arrow and Bixby.

Capturing a kid-sized fish near Newcastle, Oklahoma.

Travis Heidelberg was captured catching fish - GIANT fish - in the street near his home in Newcastle, Oklahoma. After the rain, many fish were involuntarily relocated. But it turned out to be one of the coolest ways to see just how big the fish were getting in Oklahoma's lakes. Just take a look at the size of this thing!

Lake Altus-Lugert and SWOK's Underwater Ghost Town

Like most rare things, conditions have to be just right to see one of Oklahoma's hidden gems. In years of good and average rainfall, the lost town of Lugert stays buried beneath the waves... but in dry years, especially those stricken by drought, you can walk around this pre-statehood townsite while enjoying one of Oklahoma's prettiest areas, Quartz Mountain State Park.
