Watch This Adorable Giraffe in Oklahoma Get His Own Chiropractic Work
Ever seen a full grown giraffe get adjusted by a chiropractor before? Well now you can say you have! A video from Oklahoma Chiropractic came out and people have fallen in love with just how much this giraffe enjoyed his mini spa day.
Dr. Whitley & Oklahoma Chiropractic Giving Giraffe Adjustment
You can tell that the chiropractor, Dr. Whitley, enjoys his work. He takes his time, talking quietly and softly to this patient and working in small spurts.
Usually, doctor patient relationships are seen to be inappropriate for the workplace. But judging by the patient's loving tongue swipes and constant head rests, he doesn't seem to care at all how the rest of the world sees how he feels about his doctor.
You know you've done your job well when your client doesn't want to leave. And throughout the entire 3 minute video, Dr. Whitley actually had to gently nudge his patient away from him to make some space.
Chiropractic Care Can Be Just As Beneficial For Animals As It Is For Humans
You can definitely tell the giraffe in the video is not just familiar with people, but very comfortable with them. Dr. Whitley can be heard in the video describing his experience with trying to handle completely wild giraffes in Africa, which he said was a "completely different experience."
Giraffes aren't the only animals you will find getting their own chiropractic care in Oklahoma.

In fact, horses are specifically known for having regular chiropractic care. Other animals that can be adjusted are dogs, cats, and even some birds. Technically, any vertebral animal can be adjusted, the previous three are usually the ones to have it done.

It's important to remember that not every chiropractor can work on both animals and people; if you want someone to work on your animal, they'll need to have be certified from the Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA).
