Oklahoma was just recently highlighted as one of the best places for filmmakers to do their work. And one director is making it happen in the Oklahoma City area. A movie starring the well-known band Green Day, is set to be filmed this year in OKC and they're reaching out for folks who want to be in it.

Movie Based On Green Day Debaucles To Be Filmed In Oklahoma

Director Lee Kirk and his crew are filming a new movie NEW YEARS REV, starring Green Day, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey and Sean Gunn in the cast. The movie follows three friends journeying to Los Angeles to open for Green Day on New Year's Eve. Their funny and mischevious stunts are based on the stories of Green Day and their years of living in a tour van.

Although they have their main cast selected, featuring some big names from The Office and Gilmore Girls, the filmmakers for NEW YEARS REV still need Oklahomans who want to be involved.

Casting Call Oppportunities That Oklahomans Can Apply For Now

Currently, the filmmakers are seeking the following folks for specific roles in the Green Day film:

Many of these roles are gauranteed to pay $100 for the day, but hotels and transportation costs are not covered.

Some roles do have additional incentives and opportunities to be on screen for longer than just a glance.
