Happy Birthday Shane!

Caronavirus got you down?  Put yourself in Shane's shoes.  Shane will be 30 on May 11, and he won't get the celebration that his Mom had planned for him, because of his compromised immune system.  No going out to dinner, no family get together, just another day of he and his Mom quarantined at home where they have been for the last 6 weeks or so.

Now, 30 is a big birthday for Shane, you see, he hasn't had the easiest life, with several surgeries before he was even a year old.  He got extra chromosome and that makes him even more special to everyone that knows him.  You may have met Shane, if you have, you'd remember him as the most loving and pleasant young man.

We want to try to make Shane's Birthday extra special, in every way that we can. That's where you come in.  If you are out and about this week, we are asking that you pick up a Birthday Card for Shane.  Something simple is plenty.  Just a note wishing him the happiest day he can have under the circumstances.  Send them here to the radio station, and I will deliver them to his mailbox, on Sunday, May 10th.  You see, one of his favorite things to do everyday is to check the mail.  What a wonderful surprise it would be to find a huge stack of Birthday cards just for him!
