I think it was Tuesday night, Jan 30, that I saw three deer outside my window around midnight. One of them was probably a fawn, born sometime last spring.

I got up to go to the bathroom and saw them outside my window. It's easy to see outside at night if all the lights are turned off. It allows moonlight to shine through the windows.

I tried taking some pictures, but it was too dark for my phone. I don't want to use flash, because it'd scare them off, like in "Intern Deer Sighting 1."

After a few tries I decided to stop and just watch them. They were eating grass and slowly edging closer to my room. I'd say they were at least within 20 feet of the outer wall.

One of these days I'm going to try to get closer to them, without a wall between us.
