Lawton, OK's Holiday in the Park Now Has a Ferris Wheel

There's been a lot of changes and improvements over the past couple of years to Holiday in the Park at Elmer Thomas Park in Lawton, Fort Sill. Every year it gets bigger and better and 2022 is no exception. New to Holiday in the Park this year we'll have a ferris wheel and carousel. It was announced late last week by event organizers and the Lawton, Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce. Looking forward to it opening this weekend!

Lawton, Fort Sill's Holiday in the Park is back in 2022 bigger & better than ever!

Holiday in the park will open this weekend on Saturday, November 19th (11-19-22) right after the BIG PARADE. Make plans now to be a part of all the festive fun. The Holiday in the Park parade will start at 6:00-pm in downtown Lawton on C Ave in front of the Central Plaza and make its way to Elmer Thomas Park located at 501 N.W. Ferris Ave. It's the perfect way to kick off the 2022 Holiday season and opening night!

Not only will we have a ferris wheel and carousel at Holiday in the Park, but we'll also have one of the largest synthetic ice skating rinks in S.W. Oklahoma. It's twice as big as last year! Throughout the holiday season, there will be all kinds of special events and happenings at Holiday in the Park like movie nights and more.

Of course, the entire park will be decked out for Christmas with tons of lights, displays, and holiday decorations. You'll also have the chance to grab the best cup of coffee or hot chocolate along with other drinks and snacks at the Holiday House. It's going to be a great time, guaranteed. It all kicks off (11-19-22).
