Blue & Gold Sausage Has a Storefront in Oklahoma
For as long as I can remember, getting your hands on Oklahoma’s favorite Blue & Gold Sausage has always been a bit of a waiting game. Started decades ago by an ag teacher as a school fundraiser, it’s grown into a full-blown tradition that now stretches into Oklahoma’s neighboring states. Around here, there’s even such a thing as “Blue & Gold season.”
But here we are, October 2025, and I—an almost lifelong Oklahoman—just learned that Blue & Gold Sausage Co. actually has a storefront where you can buy this Sooner State delicacy year-round.

If you know, you know. When B&G season rolls around, you almost look forward to coworkers hitting you up with their kids’ fundraiser sheets. That sausage has a flavor all its own, but to me, it always brings back memories of Saturday mornings on the family farm.
Tastes Like Home
We’d all crash on those old foam mattresses in Grandma and Grandpa’s living room—cousins everywhere—and wake up at the same time to the smell of B&G sizzling in a cast-iron skillet. Bacon popping on the stove, eggs scrambling fast, and a line forming for the bathroom before breakfast hit the table.
That smell alone is reason enough to keep a few rolls of B&G tucked away in the freezer. And now, apparently, you can stock up anytime. You just have to make the drive to Jones, Oklahoma, and visit the storefront yourself.
Still, I’d say it’s best to keep tradition alive and buy through your local fundraiser first. Support the kids, fill the freezer, and remember there’s a backup plan next summer if you ever run short.
