A new study was conducted to determine the most popular places people from each state are moving to, including Oklahoma. The study by Stacker used Census Bureau and other data along with user surveys and questionnaires to determine the 3 most popular destinations that people from each state are moving to.

According to the study and the most recent data from the Census Bureau the 3 most popular states overall that people are moving to are Florida, Texas, and California. There were all kinds of reasons and explanations for people's desire or need to leave their current home state and move somewhere else within the survey.

For many the cost of living, employment opportunities, quality of life, and crime rates were the primary reasons for wanting to make a move. Along with this retirement and wanting to find someplace with better weather conditions and climate were also listed as primary reasons for wanting to move to another state.

Oklahoma is home and I can't imagine living someplace else. Sure we have our fair share of problems, especially when it comes to the weather but despite Mother Nature's moodiness, the Sooner State is a great place to live. At least in my opinion anyway. Whether Americans are coming to Oklahoma for a more cost-effective lifestyle or just for work, here are a few things they can expect when they get here.
