Lawton Police & Fire Departments to Renew Rivalry in Softball Games [AUDIO]

Two of our favorite Lawton Police officers, officers Charlie Wittington and Detective Jeff McCoy stopped by the KLAW EZ Go Studios this week to chat about the renewal of their on-going rivalry with the Lawton Fire Dept, this time on the softball field. And the best part, it for a pair of great causes!!

Come out and support the third annual LPD vs. LFD Softball Game. The game will be held on October 28, 2017 at 12pm. The game will be played at the Mcmahon Softball Complex (38th and Lee Blvd, Field #3).

The proceeds from this event will be donated to charities named by both teams. For the Fire Dept, its Operation Warm, a program dedicated to fighting drugs in schools. In return, the LPD is playing for the Officer Down Memorial Fund, to benefit officers injured while on the job, and the families of those that are killed in the line of duty.
