Lawton Public Schools Foundation Announce 2022 Golf Tournament
The Lawton Public Schools Foundation has announced the date for the upcoming Golf Tournament that supports the mission of the foundation. This 2nd Annual Golf Tournament 'Putt for LPS Students' will be held Monday, April 18th, hosted by the Lawton Country Club.
The Lawton Public Schools Foundation's mission is"
Enhancing the educational experience of Lawton Public Schools students and faculty through technology, programs, materials, and extracurricular activities.
In 1991, Lawton community members established the Lawton Public Schools Foundation as a way to supplement teacher and student needs not met by government funding. Today, the Foundation continues to support students and teachers in each Lawton Public school through grants that encourage innovative and creative learning experiences. The Foundation awards grants to teachers for specific projects, initiatives, or activities that enhance students' futures by donating to the LPS Foundation. These donors impact our students by giving them the chance not only for a more fulfilling education but a more rewarding and exciting future.
The 'Putt for LPS Students' 4 person Golf Scramble will kick off on April 18th, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. and ending with Awards presented at 4 p.m. And there are a couple of different ways to register.
