Well, this new study might not come as a shock to those still reeling from the infamous Red River Rivalry game from Saturday, October 11. But, for the rest of us, the news comes as a bit of a shock.
According to moveBuddha's recent study of Google Trend data, Oklahomans are the ones using Google most to figure out how to leave the country. But it isn't just because of the football game that might be pushing people out of the sooner state.
We'll take a closer look at what Oklahomans are, apparently, dreaming of leaving for according to Google Trends data.
Oklahomans searching to escape to another country and France tops the list.
There's a difference between searching for places to vacation to and places to start a new life. According to the research from WalletHub, Oklahomans were leading the search for a new place to live, using terms like "moving abroad" and "move overseas."

On the list of the places that people would rather live - at least according to their Google searches - France is top of the list for Oklahoma, followed by Germany and England.
It seems as though a large part of people who are looking to move out of the country want some long-term stability, as they are also frequently searching for "best countries to retire."
While most people in other states are simply comparing and considering other options, the Google Trends indicate that Oklahomans are the ones with the most "exit intent" searches.
