If you haven't seen this video yet, you'll definitely want to hit play. Professional vocal coach and opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff of The Charismatic Voice YouTube channel reacts to the Disturbed cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence." Fans of her channel and music lovers around the world have asked that she watch the video and offer her thoughts and feedback on his vocal performance.

Needless to say her reactions were incredible and moving. She was beyond impressed and even shocked by David Draiman's vocal abilities and how he was able to pack so much emotion into his singing. It's hard not to watch Elizabeth and her facial expressions as she listens, smiles and is wide eyed at the performance. I love her reactions and how much she appreciates the song and Mr. Draiman's voice. Her feedback was also interesting and how she describes his voice and abilities.

All rock and metal fans are more than familiar with Disturbed and David Draiman, but we often forget that others have never heard of them before. Most, even Elizabeth thought "well he's just going to scream his way through this." Then are surprised that he can actually sing, and sing very well. The same could be said of several other rock and metal vocalists. A lot of them are capable of the same type of blending of softer tones, low, gravelly growls and even higher tones together.

I love her reaction and how enthusiastic she was while listening and watching the video. I have to agree with her, I prefer Disturbed's version of "Sound of Silence" over the original. There aren't many covers out there that you can honestly say that about, but this one you can for sure!
