Purses for a Purpose is On…with a Twist!

The SW Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraiser, Purses with a Purpose is going to look a bit different this year.  I guess that can be said for just about everything  in the year 2020.

Last year's event was a huge success with a fun round of Bingo, winner's winning purses, with purses available for purchase as well.  However, because of social distancing restrictions this year, there won't be any in-person event, but that hasn't stopped the ladies involved with the SW Walk!

This year you will be able to purchase a raffle ticket for a $20 donation for your chance to win a Louis Vuitton handbag or a bag.  The winner will be announced on January 2, 2021.  You can contact any of the following committee members to purchase your raffle ticket or tickets:

The committee members were happy with this idea, until the figured a way to use silent auction to auction off other purses as well!  This is super cool.  Kristen Ward from Blue Moon Screenprinting is hosting the silent auction at the Walk's group page:

You can take a look at the purses up for auction and increase bids by $5 increments!  What a great way to raise money for such a worthy cause.  Those of you that know me, know that I lost my mother in 2018 to Alzheimer's Disease, and joining the fight to find a cure and or treatment is definitely something that I'm all for!
